Solved: Slow startup w/ some programs not starting up - Page 2

I see no more problems...

This will clear away any of the files and folders that were created by ComboFix.
Go to :
Start > Run then copy and paste the following highlighted (blue) text below into the box and click OK.

ComboFix /u

Update: Today I experienced another bsod with insta-reset. Also I have noticed a program that has started to crash now for about a week. I have ran several diagnostics on it and the program itself is fine. However today after another program crash, that is when I experienced the bsod and reset, out of the blue so it seemed.

I would love to, Matt. However when I go into the minidump folder,.....theres nothing there!

I double checked my settings and they are set properly for it to save the files in that folder.

Also I have not done any type of system cleanup after the bsod happened.

Ok could you read any of the BSOD that flashed up? what did it say?

No, I couldn't read a single word of it due to the system resetting instantly. It basically looked like a blue blur happened before the reset, but I could tell that is was definitely a bsod.

this makes it hard to workout whats going on

is there anything in your event viewer at all? it would be good if we could even get the first line of the BSOD text.

Also did you try do a search for .dmp files in case it's dumping them else where. Idk why the not there
