- Take the side panel off the PC, as you did when you installed the graphics card
- Look on the side of the power supply itself to see if you can see a make and model

What video card are you using? It could be an overheating issue? Another Geforce 8-series and over are generally REALLY effing hot. I've used the 8800GTS, 9800GTX and GTX 275. For all of them, I've had to install aftermarket coolers to keep up with the high demands of maxing out next-gen games. Note - same thing goes for Radeons. My 4850 DEMANDED a cooler. It wasn't nice about it either.

Wow! How does your PC even turn on? It's only a 250 watt PSU.
Around 70 watts of that will be used for the graphics card alone, but you also need a much more stable power supply. Recommend a 400w PSU for this card, with a minimum 12v rating of 18 amps. I can post a few good links to some reliable brands if you like? P.S. Thanks Rob, temperatures already checked, a good 52c, fairly cool.
