Hi guys,
I have been recently getting the BSOD(Blue Screen of Death). I have checked and it always states that the problem is BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER which I presume should be something wrong with my usb driver?
I only have a Logitech Webcam and a Microsoft Wireless Connector in my USB ports. Both of them are updated but the error still persists. What can I do? Thanks in advance!

Hello Ntx, Welcome back to the forum!
Could you please click the BSOD link in my profile, follow the instructions and post back the logs? If you can do that, one of our BSOD experts should be able to help pinpoint your problem ![]() Regards, Smokeycheech

Alright, attached is my dump file. It is strange though, the most recent one was yesterday, yet the only dump file in the folder was a month ago. And that is the only dump file in the folder.

Umm, can anyone please advice, it's been two days since any of you replied.
I know that my dump file might not be the BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER error but its the only dump file I have in my minidump folder. Anyway, that dump file is another sign of another BSOD error, so it would be best if someone could help me out. |

Try going to control panel->system->device manager and then click the + next to universal serial bus controllers and right clicking on each one then click uninstall. After uninstalling all of them reboot and let it reinstall the usb drivers.

Well, after reinstalling all of the USB, it somehow worked. There was no BSOD for the whole day. But, while I was playing Far Cry 2, it suddenly showed a BSOD stating that IRQL_NOT LESS OR EQUAL
However, I did not see a new BSOD dump file except for the one I last posted. I am positively sure that my BSOD dump file settings are the same as madmonkey's guide. Can anyone please advise? |
