Yes, it's custom-built.

My Specs:
Processor: Intel Core2Duo@ 2.66ghz(no overclocking)
RAM: Two OCX 2GB DDR2 RAM( That would make 4GB in total)
Graphic Card: Nvidia Geforce GTX260 896MB OCX overclocked edition
Motherboard: Nvidia Nforce 630i/7150 Gforce Graphics
Hard Drives: Primary- Hitachi 160GB
Secondary-Maxtor 60GB
I disabled the motherboard internal graphics card and replaced it with my GTX260.

Also, only the Intel and the Geforce GTX260 warranty remains.

OK, this could well be a controller issue as suggested by the log, which would be consistent with why there are no log files, and is also a possible cause for the 0x8E stop error.

The same problem can also be caused if the drives have not been configured correctly. Do you know how to check the jumper settings with your Primary and Secondary hard drives?

The primary hard drive needs to be the drive on the very end of the ribbon cable. The jumper needs to be set to master. The second hard drive needs to be the drive in the middle, and the jumper needs to be set to slave. If you would like me to find some pictures to post, let me know.

My primary drive is a SATA drive, so there is no jumper plug for me to plug it into. However my secondary drive is an IDE drive, so I plugged the very end of the jumper cable to my secondary drive since the middle one is not long enough to insert it into the secondary drive.

How do I check the Master and Slave drives?
Is it alright for me to plug the end of the jumper cable(the other end is in the motherboard) to my secondary drive and change it to Slave? The middle jumper cable is just too short.

Hey Ntx, using that configuration, the jumper should be set to master, rather than slave. Your probably concerned that setting it to master will mean that this will be the first to boot. There's no need to worry with SATA, because which drive starts first is determined by your "Boot Order" or "Boot Priority" settings in BIOS.

So, if you do find that after setting the jumper to Master, the IDE starts first (which can sometimes be the case with certain motherboards), simply go into your BIOS (normally F2, [DEL] or F10), and look for this setting. Make sure your SATA drive appears higher up on the list than your IDE drive.

Hope this makes sense.

Well, I checked the BIOS and it displayed that the secondary drive was at the Master option and that I set the boot priority to my primary drive. Also, I had done the memtest86 but it states that there were no errors. Anyway, one thing to note if it is of any value. The problem always happens when I am playing games like Far Cry 2 or Crysis. They are original and not pirated.

Did you physically check the jumper settings on the back of the drive itself?

Well, if you're saying that if the jumper was plugged in snugly or so, then yes. I checked and pushed the jumper into the secondary drive before closing the case.
