Only one I can think of at the moment, would be to turn the device off and have a PCMCIA card instead. I'm guessing it's not much better than sending it off.

I went into sleep mode today with that setting on. Here's the new dump.

Exactly the same log, no difference there. That setting should be unticked.
I do have a few questions though, before you decide to send it back for a hardware issue, when did this problem start? If it's an issue you've always had, then check Microsoft Hardware Compatibility list: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/ to make sure your card is listed. If it's not then it's not guarantee'd to work. Standby reaks havoc with certain hardware as well as software that has not been designed and tested around standby operations. It's something that could easily slip the mind of any designer/developer/manufacturer. I really don't believe it's anything on your PC causing it apart from the driver itself, which I believe you have ruled out by installing the latest version. The only other thing I can think of is Anti-Virus software. I doubt it, but disabling it maybe good idea to rule this one out. |

I don't see any Intel Network cards on that page...
Yeah it's something I've always had. I don't plan on sending it back; if it's not fixable on my end without violating my warranty then I'm living with it. |

That's fine. It's not something I can't survive.
