Exclamation BSOD - Need Help please

Hey guys, I'm new here, and I really need help.
I'm not exactly new to BSODs (I had Windows ME) but this one's a tricky one, and it just keeps on coming.
So this is the problem:
1. everytime I try to launch a game (mainly Sid Meier's Railroads! and BF2) I get this Stop command - Stop: 0x00000008E, now, I've updated all my drivers, (Video card, sound card, Zboard, you name it) and still nothing works (I assumed it was a driver malfunction), my question is, what other things cause Stop 0x00000008E?
2. If I leave my PC on, (which I sometimes do because I forget to turn it off,) I wake up to find a BSOD, and there is really no reason why it should be there. I ran Ad-Aware, Spybot, Registry Fix, Trojan Hunter, etc., and a virus or malware does not seem to be the problem. What is the problem here then? (I don't know what the Stop messege is....)

Please Help. Contact me if u need any informtion
(I'm sward of computer aware(programming) but the BSODs are out of my range)
Thanks

I already looked at these...

I did the things the first website said, and the 0x00000008E does NOT happen on startup, only when i leave my computer on for a long time/try to play a game

Hi nzitser, first let me warmly welcome you to PCHF forum.

A stop 8E error message is often due to faulty ram.

1. Reseat the memory stick to another memory slot
2. Clean up the dust
3. Downclock the ram

If it still crashes
1. Diagnostic which ram is faulty.
2. Take out one memory stick if you have more than one, If your windows does not crash or freeze, the remove memory stick is faulty.

Cheers

Ultimate BootCD contains MemTest86, I think that'll be useful for you.
