What devices are you talking about? Did they come with backup software that you installed?

Has a virus done this?

NO.
Usb flash disk and SD card, no software.

Hi buddy.

Is there something I'm missing?

Volcano I was asking because sometimes these devices come with backup software.

I was wondering if you have some sort of software installled that is backing up files to removeable media.

I'll step back as Sir Trews is on the job.
