Since I have downloaded Malwarebytes can I remove Spybot & Norton Antivirus (since my membership expired)?

It is important that you have a program with realtime protection installed on your machine.

Do you have the paid version of Malwarebytes or the free version?

If it is the free version I suggest supplementing with this:

This is an amazing Anti Virus program. It picks up almost all infections that are out there today, provided you have updated definitions. One advantage to this program that the others do not have is a realtime firewall. It runs in the background preventing you from getting infected in the first place.

Malwarebyte's scanning engine will catch Spyware but, I suggest keeping Spybot S&D just to be safe.

Also you'll need an an Anti-Virus - AVG is free from here:

(whilst installing don't take the AVG toolbar option)
