1. I did a virus check and nothing was found. I don't think this is a virus and I'd like other suggestions before someone automatically assumes I should do the prework.

Nod 32 won't update?
I don't understand what is wrong. It appears my anti virus won't update. I have never have had this happen before. Can anyone help? Thanks.

I know you don't want to jump directly to malware but, it seems the most likely cause. Let's at least rule it out.
