Cool opinions on eset nod 32

Usingl eset nod32 free & zonezlarn - was using avg & symantec pro -

noticed that ESEt doesn't update virus definitions as ofter as did symantec - Is this a good freeby ?

NOD32 is a good program but I was unaware they released a free version. Looking at the website I see their trial versions but no freeware version. Like most AV programs, updates can be scheduled as often as you need/want. Check the settings.

Yeah I don't think there is a free version either.

IMO ESET32 is the best AV. In cases where other antivirus programs would delete the entire file, ESET cleans the file and can make it useable. Not in all cases, but in the majority of cases.

I know that at least for the paid version of ESET they update every single day with new definitions (or at least they say they do - are new viruses really created on a daily basis?)

I recommend the paid version for the updates. If your definitions aren't up to date then you are left vulnerable if a new virus infects your PC.

Agree, I have the demo version for a few months & always need daily updates. I have had various malware poo in the past.
