Usually uninstalling AVG isn't a problem.. there are quite probably other things going on in here. (And no, don't try to do McAfee right now)

Please try clicking on and running the programs from the Prework link in my signature.

This is not malware related .There is no sign of AVG in the log and it does show that Mcafee was installed.All I can suggest you do to make sure is to download and reinstall AVG again and then look for the uninstall option again.It may be better if you remove it in safe mode.

I reinstalled it and uninstalled it, and it still says i have avg anti-virus 7.1. Does anyone know how to get rid of this!!!!!
