In terms of a paid subscription to AV I stay far away from them. But, if I absolutely had to pick one it would be, as others have said, either NOD32 or Kaspersky.

All the AV programs I know of are based off the Kaspersky scanning engine.

PC Experience: Almost everything but CMD,not very good at routers, good at clearing viruses and i know software.

Allow me to suggest you a good one.

Norton- takes too much RAM.

McAfee- not very strong.

If you would like that type of internet secuirity you were talking about I would definitely get Kaspersky 2009. I have it and it is strong. Bitdefender is also good. Both of those anti-viruses do not use a lot of RAM so they are good if you are a gamer. Nod32 is good too I guess. Definitely AVOID Norton. That anti-virus takes too much RAM, you won't like your computer slow.
