Default Safe to keep 2?

Hi i currently have BOTH Avira antivir and Avast! installed on my pc, yes i know that this can cause conflict's etc.

But they seem to be running along nicely ive had no noticeable changes in system performance etc, so would this assume that its ok to have them both?

As i don't really want to get rid of either, because they are both excellent.

thedudesam,

No, noooo, nooooo! Say it ain't so?

I direct your attention to center stage! Which is where this thread can be found.

It discusses exactly what you are doing and the possible extremely bad things that can happen.

Yes, simply for scanning when you wish is fine. But, I still advise against it.
