Anti-Virus - avg posted in the Security & Safety forums; hi does anyone no how to disable avg ? i need to disable it to set up combifix and guy who is dealing with me is off line so thought ...

hi does anyone no how to disable avg ? i need to disable it to set up combifix and guy who is dealing with me is off line so thought this may be quicker option thanks

"open the Control Center, double click the Resident Shield and remove the checkmarks next to the option labeled "Turn on AVG Resident Shield protection". Don't forget to re-activate it when you are done."
