hey guys howz it. recently purchased an asus notebook with vista ultimate.. and was thiniking about getting ur opinion on security.

currently im using the preinstalled norton antivirus and firewall windows defender is on.. and that would be about it.

eventually norton trial will run out then ill need something else.. preferably light on resources... can someone suggest a good combo

i was thinking avg 8. for virus & antispyware.
mayb zoealarm as firewall...
cc cleaner

If you are going for free, here are some good free ones you can look at:

Anti-Virus:

• Avast! Anti-Virus Free

Firewalls:

• Webroot Desktop Firewall (Now Free!)
• Comodo Firewall Free
• ZoneAlarm Free Edition

Also, to fully remove Norton once you are done, follow these instructions.

Download and run the Norton Removal Tool
