I run Win 2000 as a virtual system on my iMAC (using Parallels). Whenever I run Avast on the iMAC it tells me that the trojan Win32:SdBot-gen28 is present on the virtual Win 2000 c: drive. When I run AVG on the Win system, or Spybot, or Microsoft's Malware tool, nothing sees it (I assume it is cloakinig itself)
I have tried to kick off W2000 in safe mode so that I can run them again but I haven't found out how to press f8 under Parallels.
I have down loaded your Malware Removal tool and run a quick scan and then a full scan as instructed but that also doesn't find anything.
What can I do to track it down? What is it likely to be doing?

You should try to run hijackthis (which is in the prework) on your virtual Win 2000 c: drive if you can, and then post the log back here.
Then a security analyst from the tech team can take a look at it for you to see if there are any problems. jake
