Jelly Bean, thanks for the Norton Removal tool.
Norton hs been removed and AVG's installed  Just one question, Crush, u mentioned that AVG has its own Firewall that runs in the background. That means it wont show up in the AVG Control Panel right? But then why didnt AVG turn off my windows firewall during the installation? My windows firewall is still on. Should i turn it off? AVG Anti Virus Free Version 8.0.176 Thanks for the help guys. |

I have AVG and I still have my windows firewall enabled.
I have had no issues in over two years. You should find AVG much better than Norton and it is free.  JB.

Agreed. Windows firewall shouldn't conflict with AVG. I've been running it for two years with no issues
