Hi, i have recently just bought a licensed copy of Kaspersky and i don't know much about computer security but i trust the recommendations i have been given that it is a good one, the only concern i have is that when i decide to run a full computer scan or even a quick one i get the impression there is still something i have to do after the scan i.e the program isn't dealing with what it finds. i guess im just looking for reassurance that it is or guidance as to how i have to deal with it myself.
after the full computer scan has been completed an extra window pops up, 'Reports - Kaspersky Internet Sevurity 2009' in this window it lists all the scans that have taken place, i can see the one i have just run that has now been completed. when i expand the date of my scan all i see is 'task started' and 'task completed'. the other thing that worrys me is that after the scan the window just goes back to how it was pretty much before i ran it with the addition of the reports window.
In the reports window there seems to be no options to deal with the 2 events and 625393 objects the scan picked up. can anyone help me please! also a few days ago i got a windows security notification from the security center saying anti virus has been turned off but i checked Kaspersky was running, i found a forum where someone else had the same problem and i followed the soloution so that windows doesnt alert me when there is no antivirus - which isnt ideal. Any help would be appreciated, thanks
David

Hi David,
It's not a product that I have used to any great extent either. Have you tried Kaspersky support, as you are a paying customer of theirs?
