Hi sylvain V and welcome to PC Help Forum.
I don't know what the best anti-virus in the world is, because they are all different and some are better in one area than the others. You must also remember that Antivirus software without Heuristic detection can only be as good as it's virus dictionary, so it relies on people to find the viruses first. I personally use Avast as it's free and works well, a lot of people use NOD-32 for a paid antivirus and are impressed by it. |

I agree with Upgrader, and I use and recommend Eset's Nod32 anti virus application...

Yeah I am behind a wall of AVG8, Spybot S&D, Spy Sweeper, Windows Defender, Ad-Aware, Malwarebytes and a few other assorted cleaning programs like CCCleaner. I eve use some online scanners like Panda ActiveScan. I Have yet to be virused in 2 years. Freeware is the way to go!
But no program gets everything so it's important to have a wide assortment of different programs that target different things in order to get all the potential malicious stuff out there

Hi, I've just become a member of the site. I don' wanna show myself as a know-all person but there is no best anti-virus prg in the world, ı think. There is only way of marketing it. As you know, the viruses are mostly created by the anti-virus prgs' producers and beside this there is a strange agreement among them to do this. If any kind of problem occurs as Panda did, they never let the prg's users like Panda's update the latest versions.
