Default Downloaded Virus But I Think I Removed It

Hey everyone, this is a long story about how I downloaded this virus and I believe I removed it but am not 100% sure if I did.

Ok, I (accidentally, of course) downloaded the AntiVirus Xp 2008/ Joke Bluescreen Trojan. After I stopped freaking out about it, I tried to remove it. I read everywhere to download this and that to remove it but I didn't want to uninstall McAfee for fear that the trojan would do something. So I tried to remove it manually.

When the McAfee warning thing came up I wrote down the 2 files that were causing it. it was like rchne13k <--- or something like that, (it ended with 13k and started with an "r" lol). So I searhed and searched and did research and I found the folder with that name. There was a file with that name and with the "Antivirus XP" icon on it. Iwanted to delete all the files there but I couldn't. So, I did more research and ended all the virus processes.

After that, there was no more "Antivirus XP". but I still had that annoying "error desktop" and I still can't change it. Anyways, after doing more research for a longtime I ran the regedit command in the run on the start menu and I believe I deleted the bluescreen files. after I restarted the computer, there was no more error sign but still the desktop was blue and I can not change it.

Can someone please help?
