Anti-Virus - Found a virus, would like additional info :D posted in the Security & Safety forums; I i did an avast BOOT scan of my system,as its the best way to scan. And i found 1 trojan called Virus has been detected! File Name: mscftp....

Default Found a virus, would like additional info :D
I i did an avast BOOT scan of my system,as its the best way to scan.

And i found 1 trojan called

Virus has been detected!
File Name: mscftp.dll
FileID: 1
Virus Description: Win32:Agent-TVS [Trj]


Its in the avast chest, any additional info would be great

well...its a virus that probably shouldn't be there. If it's in the chest and if it doesn't have multiple copies of itself, you should be fine. What info do you need specifically?

Just curios lol, just wondering what it does/did y'know, probably just a downloader for adds or w/e but i just wanna be sure
