Question Anti-Virus Question!

I was wondering what your thoughts are on Webroot Spy Sweeper with Anti-Virus? Or Trend Micro P-Cillin anti-virus? I already have Sp Sweeper, but they are offering the ant-virus for $10 more. What are your recommendations on Spyware and Anti-Virus programs?

I personally like Freeware Versions like AVG or Avast for a Anti-virus. I have had some Issues with webroot products that they tended to shrug off. (poor cust. service) but I know that the Anti-spy is one of the better ones available. (In the top 5 if I remember correctly) but runs rather heavy on the system. I don't like either macaffe or norton since both miss way to many Viri for my taste. and Trend-micro products seem to be fairly good. So If it were me I would look at prices for the two and base my decision that.

ok. Jimmy h i appreciate your response to my question, but here is another. I would like some more opinions on my question. Obviously i have the spy sweeper for a year. i am using Norton and i have seen how most of you feel about that. don't care for it much either. Is the spy sweeper anti-virus as good as avg free edition? i had avg before a long time ago.Or is th avg you pay for a lot better? any responses would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.

For what it's worth I use:

AVG for anti virus, Comodo for the Firewall. Then Spybot & AdAware to run once a week for the Malware etc..

All free and supported.

don't know why so many people don't rate norton, i did have that on my old pc, never had a problem with it or one that were caused by it, well not that i were aware of.

i've now been running avg free version for some time now, again not a problem, seems to be work well.
