Hello.

What happened when you ran the Norton removal tool?
What version is your NAV?

The removal tool can not initiate, i have 2007 revision installed on an XP SP2 machine. Hint: Both NAV and removal tool can not initiate. NAV gives internal error message and the tool does respond at all.

Ta in advance

Have you also tryed the online removal tool from Symantec/Norton?

Norton Removal Tool

This Norton Removal Tool uninstalls all Norton 2007/2006/2005/2004/2003 products from your computer. Before you continue, make sure that you have the installation CDs or downloaded installation files for any Norton products that you want to reinstall. Also, if you use ACT! or WinFAX, back up those databases and uninstall those products manually.
This procedure requires that you use Internet Explorer. If you have this page open in any other Web browser, please start Internet Explorer and open this page in it:

Download and run the Norton Removal Tool
