Exclamation [Resolved] Antivirus Warning. PLEASE READ BEFORE NORTON INSTALL

Most of you have no clue to who i am, except for the people who have helped me for hours at a time during my recent build... progress time? 7 WEEKS! problems problems problems... 1 simple problem, but that not what im here about. here are my symptoms

i got my computer back working, finally, and once i dont a few things i decided to protect myself from computer HIV... so i installed my Norton Antivirus. it went soo smooth and uick with my new system, i was impressed.. i done the recomended restart, then the worst thing happened... i seen files being deleted before my eyes, and once the system restarted itself it would not boot no matter what i done.. i came to find out that NORTON ANTIVIRUS is a BOOTABLE DISK. when i restarted the system and left the disk in the drive it decided to check my drive for erros and delete important system files.... the only prescription for this infection is reformat and re-install...
here are my symptoms

The best way around any problems with a "bootable NAV" disk is to install NAV via a download from their web site. For a few dollars more, you can get a year's worth of download protection to reinstall the software.

Granted you have a small window where you are suseptable to a bug, but that is better than the problem you experience. Something worth thinking about.

How can I buy and download NAV 2007? Click on me.
