Default Microsoft Live One Care

Hi,

I have tried thefree 90 days Microsoft Live One Care Internet security system
and found it quite good, not intrusive as Norton Internet Security which I
have uninstalled.

It is time to activtivate my account now. But I find that it is quite expensive
$79. something..

I learnt that AVG is quite good,.
Can someone give me some more recommendation?

By the way, what is the difference between the paid AVG and the free version
..of course I am sure the paid version is better, but what is the diff?

anyone can help?

thanks
gamy

Hi gamy, the paid version is for businesses...it offers a bit more support but not worth it for a home user.

AVG, Avast, NOD32...all good

Default Free AVG

I do a lot of surfing at a few traffic exchanges and
surf the net long hours, so is the free version of AVG enough
to protect?

I know people who have run it for years--several in fact-- I never heard them complain it missed something.
I myself have run the paid version-- for 5 years --it once caught something, quarantined the file-- and I did not notice it was in the quarantine for 3 weeks.(rendered harmless) Completely automatic-- hardly know it's there.
