Exclamation Defender Pro & JScript

I have a dell dimension 2400 (xphome sp 2) that came with McAfee A/V. when the introductory subscrption ran out, i decided to switch Kapersky Lab's Defender Pro, but forgot to uninstall McAfee first. when i did uninstall McAfee, i began getting an error messeage that reads "KAV Script Checker" "Cannot load library for language 'JScript' Path:'c:\program files\mcafee\virusscan\scriptcl.dll' Please contact Kapersky Lab for solution." the defender pro web-site mentions the problem re: Norton and refers you to Norton support who doesn't have any answers (nor does mcafee.com). is there anything i can do short of re-installing windows? i don't have install disks.

Hey BJ,

Welcome to PCHF, sorry about the delay in posting back.

Have you tried re-installing McAfee, reboot, and then uninstall again. Something may have gone wrong during the uninstall. Also, when does this error occur?
