this process takels 100% of cpu time for 2 or 3 minutes, then it increases its needs of memory until the system slows down et it takes a lot of time to get response !
I uninstall Norton , everything was ok , I reinstall completly Norton and thihgs come back !!
Any idea ?

well, Norton is a known resource hog, and this could be an issue of it. Youi could also have a bad install of norton. I'd contact the good people at Symantec, or, depending on how much time you have left on your Norton purchase, begin looking at other alternatives.

But I'd probably start with Symantec tech support. They actually have wonderful tech support, but I guess there's a reason for that.

again, it depends on how much time you have left with your purchase. Due to these type of problems, I made my personal decision to switch to AVG about 2 years ago, but waited another 6 months as I had bought a year, may as well get a years worth for what I bought.

Let us know what Symantec says.
