Default new stand alone AV to look at..

found a nice standalone AV scanner from "incodesolutions" called "removeit- pro" this baby scans for viri by hashcalc instead of sig files very fast and quite effective. they provide a freeware as well as a enterprise version. freeware version is a scanner only interface, but the enterprise version provides real time protection. as for fast this sucker scanned my 160 gig external with 139gig of data in under 15 minutes placed it on two test machines that I infected with win32 and a couple of others and she picked it out in no time at all!!! can't provide you with a link but you can find it on the Major- geeks website. Good Hunting!!!

I'm only providing the link, and not recommending this AV software. I'm a Nod32 fanboi as it is 64 bit compatible. This appears not to be.

Go here (link removed for members' safety)

To anyone currently viewing this thread, PLEASE do not download it. Arctos is right when casting his doubt regarding this AV. Read the following for more information:
RemoveIT Pro - Wilders Security Forums

Jimmy, I would suggest you follow the Prework link in my signature and post your HijackThis log as there is a fair chance that this so-called anti-virus program may have brought along other undesirables.
