Exclamation Big problem with Panda 2007

Installed Panda antivirus + firewall 2007, somehow unsuccesfully because pandas firewall and protection against unknown threats does not work. error on these two in panda home window. tried to uninstall it but panda said it could not find setup.exe or smth, browsed it to pandas executable, did not help but made it worse. panda loads up at start up, but there is now such program as panda in add/remove program list.
how the hell am i suposed t oremove it from my pc?
about a year ago had pretty similar problem with panda antivirus, it was solved by formating disk c, did not learn from my mistake and now it's not an option.. i can't delete pandas folder with its files aswell - "used by other program"..
any ideas?

nope no such options from panda..
it starts installation process then says that it panda is installed and asks to firstly uninstall the software. How? **** it, i knew i should't have had to install panda...

maybe someone knows how are pandas service running processes named so i could try to stop them in the task manager and just delete the thing..?

Chief... whenever you have this kind of problem with a security app ala Panda/ZoneAlarm/AVG-- nearly the ONLY solution is to un / reininstall totally. These things get so deep into your system's code/registry (so they can do their job) that to try to repair a faulty install-- it's just asking for trouble.
I would not risk it... what are we talking about, an hour's aggravation ?? It is not worth the risk to try to repair it -- just uninstall it and start over. Panda is a great product-- i've been running it on my kid's puter for years without a single issue.

There is usually an uninstall button in Start/All Programs/ Panda-- it is usually best to use the maker's uninstaller. Firewall's and AV's have many hidden components that Windows Add/Remove applet will miss.

Then be sure to REBOOT. This will eleiminate any remaining bits.

Then start from scratch and reinstall from the beginning from your CD copy-- or if you downloaded it-- you may have to contact their tech-support to get a new download link. You Paid for a working program --insist that you get one-- installing from the original download may get you the same issues all over again-- something may have been corrupted during transmission-- it happens. Explain this to them --and I'm sure they will help you. There may be install tips on their website-- though I've NEVER had a problem installing their stuff. you may also be able to download a "demo version" and convert it to a full version using your activation code-- in your email receipt. If you have a disc use that.errors can and do occur even from a CD-rom.

Thanks for the advice, but first of all there is no such option as "uninstall panda". And the rest you can read in my first post. As i already said there is no normal or standard way to uninstall it..the only way would be to somehow force uninstallation..or delete the program, but i don't know how..
help...
