Is it a genuine Trojan or not? Only I've read other forums and someone said that the manifactures put it on there when they sell system.

Also if I do a system restore will it clear it if it's not supposed to be on the laptop?

They also said that it was the last one (was on special offer) and they probably wouldn't be getting any more of those in
I doubt very much a manufacturer would install a trojan, it would be commercial suicide.
The files that you have presented appear to be legitimate .exe files although apparently BT does admit to sending a trojan in certain emails.
More here;
BTopenworld sends Trojan to subscribers | The Register

I would ask questions at AVG about this or if you like I will research this if you care to hold on for a few moments.

What would happen if i do a restore the laptop back to factory settings, would it clear them?

Could it just be possible that people have used the laptop in the shop or maybe a member of staff has used it to access the internet.

We need to be sure before we take it back

You could indeed retore it back to brand new but I would need to know what disks you got with the laptop.
I know PC World's policy is not to provide restore disks so when anything goes wrong you have no avenue but to return it to them. Whether Staples operates the same policy I have no idea.
Depending on the laptop make you may have up to 3 disks;
1: Recovery disk (worded in the form of "For re-installation of XP on a [whatever] machine")
2: Peripheral drivers, ie; printers etc or drivers not covered in the XP driver database.
3: PC Documentation, ie; Help files etc.

Shop staff don't give a toss how the machine goes out or what they have done to it before sale.

I have a CD/DVD called Recovery CD/DVD, it says:- "This CD/DVD allows you to restore the operating system on your Fujitsu Siemens Computers system. For the recovery you will also need the "Drivers & Utilities"CD/DVD". Which I've got.

Could it be I picked up trojan before i managed to download avg anti-virus? Though I didn't use BT_Openworld. I used NTL Broadband

Ok that's great.
Presuming you want to completely start again insert that 1st cd and carefully follow the instructions from there.
Make sure you have you cd key code to hand, this is a 5 section 20 digit/character code that you will need to enter at some stage.
After you have done that install the drivers disk.

It has instructions on the back of the cd cover, telling me to call the BIOS Setup and have to set up the boot up sequence first.

Hope I don't mess this up lol

Can't find the CD key code though

Ok to get into the bios is easy.
You know when it first boots up and you have a black screen with loads of writing on, at the bottom it will say something along the lines of;
"Press F1 to enter Setup"
It may not be F1 but Del or F10
You will find this is an alien world if you have never been into the bios before but don't get worried.
Save and exit when done.

Once in go to Advanced or "Boot Sequence", this is where the machine looks for an operating system to boot from.
The usual is;
A: Floppy drive
C: Hard drive
D or E: CDROM

Set to boot from the cdrom first.

The cd key may be on a sticker on the laptop some where have a look and get back to me.
