I have actually never run it personally... but just about every review I have ever read has been positive. It's kind of a "geek's AV" ... I've never read about it anywhere but in forums-- usually security-oriented ones.

NOD32 is good, and it's recommended by alot of users. Even i recommend it...but...
If you use 3D Studio Max with the VRay addon, you will not be able to use vray while nod32 is installed. Not sure why, but that's just the way it is.

Do you think it would be ok to run both NOD32 and AVG together?

Running 2 active antivirus is "not recommended"...the scanners/active protections can interfere with each other-- according to most advice I've seen.
...that said I actually have been running AVG with Zone Alarm 6 Pro for about 2 years now with no trouble. I just set the scans and auto-updates for different times. It started as kind of an experiment-- I just tend to go against the grain to see what happens-- when nothing did --I just forgot about it lol. Doesn't mess with any process as far as I can tell. My PC is still just as fast-- I've no problems web-browsing-- no boot problems-- no lock-ups. I do have Zone Alarms email scanner disabled-- but that's because AVG does a fine job-- why have 2 ?? |

Yeah I run both Kerio and AVG together and have never had a problem either. I'm curios about NOD32, cause a friend of mine runs it and he swears by it. The thing is he's sometimes....well....how do I say it...lets just say he's made mistakes before.
Any info from you guys is GREAT info.

NOD32 is a very good AV, not free but one of the better AV's available.
