Default Comodo Antivirus

I've heard alot about Comodo Firewall on the net, and in fact using it but what about Comodo's free antivirus? I haven't seen much info about it. What do you think of it, compared to AVG?

Haven't used it myself. Hey, why not run it for a week or so and then write up a review here for others to see....you'll be famous!!

To be honest.. I can hardly believe they are from the same company..

There free firewall is one of, or maybe the best out there, of the free firewall's. But there AV is afaik one of the worst AV's out there..

So I am not recommending it.

When it only finds 4941 out of 16420 viruses in a very decent test, then I don't want it on my pc.

For free AV's I'd stick with either AVG or Avast.

Comodo firewall is the one which made Comodo known within the anti-malware community, not its anti-virus, which I have never heard much about before.

By the way Joe, where did you get the statistics of the test you mentioned? I would be interested to have a look at it.
