Recently, I downloaded trial versions of Trojan-Hunter and StopSign (anti-virus) recently. After using them, I tried to delete them from my laptop, and it wouldn't allow me to!! I tried using the "Control Panel"-"Add/Remove Programs" without any success. HELP!! Is there any free utility or ways to get remove/rid of them completely?!!!! Please let me know -

Hi tech1268,

Welcome mate. When you say you have no success using add/remove, what happens exactly? Do you not have an option to remove, or do you get a message saying it can't be removed? Also, have you tried removing and then rebooting to see if they've been deleted?

Tech1268,

If you click on Start and go to Programs and find those two programs is there an arrow to where if you highlight the program it should expand giving you two entries. One entry is to run the program and the other should be to uninstall. It will read "uninstall Stop-Sign". Do you have that entry? I am asking because most programs come with their own uninstall program, which when uninstalling any program it is recommended to its own uninstall program and not go through the control panel.
