My question is: What file do you select to scan received files for Instant Messengers?

are you asking where do messengers store files? I know MSN Stores them in My Documents\My Recieved Files

Right click on the file and there should be a anti-virus scan option on the resulting context menu.

It's not that...I know where it stores files, but in MSN, you can configure the file to be scanned automatically. I just want to know which file from the AntiVir folder can do that.

Do you mean that in MSN's options you have to select an AV to use to scan files with?

im not 100% sure about antivir but with avg you use avgw.exe /se.


/SE being the paramater to use

if i find anything out about i will post it straight away
