Default [Fixed] Return of Norton; two AV's running

Last year, I was able to finally delete the packaged Norton AV that came with my wife's Vaio laptop after the trial period. Took some web searching for the insider secrets to remove. Running Belarc Advisor (love it), it detected Norton still running (Realtime File Scanning On, only). Can't find it in Currently Installed Programs. Any ideas how to get rid of this last vestige of an undesirable program? Thanks.

hi Kimo
How did you delete the pakaged anti virus? Did you use the control panel or the uninstall that comes with the program(this comes with the program you install).

Default AV removal

Thanks for the links; I seemed to remember I had to search for the same instructions since there were no uninstall prompts or even a listing on the Add/Remove list. Thanks again.
