Hi everyone. I am new to the site and do not do well with computer stuff. I was running Norton 2003 and it was time to renew my subscription. I deceided to upgrade to Norton anti virus 2006. I managed to get it installed and now have a problem sending and receiving e-mails with Outlook Express 6. I have to turn the scanning e-mail portion of Norton off to send and receive. I would like to have my e-mails scanned for viruses.

Hi benjak, welcome to PCHF.

If your copy of Norton is under warranty still, did you speak to them about this yet? Also, did you visit Norton's homepage and update (patch) the software to the latest version?

I e-mailed Norton and they sent me to their website for trouble shooting. I tried what it asked me to. There are several things such as deleting corrupted e-mail which I do not have. I have sent them a reply and am awaiting a reply again.
