 Hi Alex,

In the instructions, the last part of the ewido instructions tell you how to save the log. There should have been one automatically saved for you however, look in your Program Files under Security Suite, there should be a Reports folder, in there should be a text file with todays date. Please post that file.

Look forward to your reply,

TTFN

:o Hi Aalex,

Did you already follow the instructions for the fix I gave you? All of the items are still in the log. Also, have you looked for your ewido log in the Reports folder?

Looking forward to your reply,

TTFN

Hi Aalex,

I think that's because you are still running HJT from a temporary folder, so it cannot make the backups it needs to. You actually have three copies running from a temp folder, lol.

Please uninstall HijackThis from add/remove programs, then go to Start, Search and search for any instances of HijackThis on your computer. Next, move the HijackThis zip file into the folder you created, either on your desktop or in Program Files, and unzip it there, if you use Winrar, you want to "extract files here".

Then run HijackThis again, and try the fixes I have posted for you previously, if you get the error message to send info to merijin, (the creators of HJT) Open a copy of Notepad, and click on Paste, then post that message back here. (That error message automatically sends a copy of the info to your clipboard so that you can email merijin the error)

Let me know how it goes.

Can you run a new Ewido scan and post the log from that scan? It could hold importend info.

And @LGW , his last hjt log is clean so no need to run the fix again.
