My cousin has a virus or a trojan and it doesn't seem to be affecting his files but mcafee can't get rid of it and it says this

In order to help your cousin, we're going to need a little more info. First can your cousin get onto the internet?

If so, can you direct them to this thread, we will need them to follow the instructions in the PreWork link of my signature, then to post the logs back here. Chances are there is more going on than the one Trojan.

Yes he can get online I will have him run hijack this and all that stuff.

He was able to get rid of it in safe mode. Thanks for everyones help.
