Maybe clear out your temp and temporary internet files, see whether that helps. Then try as Ginny G suggested

Ok, got that working, now when i try to perform a system scan on any of the drives or my whole computer i get this:

"Unable to open the file Anti Virus\Tasks\mycomp.sca Please make sure the filename and path are correct on your system and try again".

Its ok, what ive done is (after having countless problems) is un install NAV and Installed Avast
