hello all...
i have never really had a problem with my computer...however, about half an hour ago, i was just messing around on my computer and it froze up, i had to manually turn it off and when i restarted it, it opened up like usual, but when it got to the desktop, it was going EXTREMELY slow...the hour glass wouldn't go away and when i tried to open something, it would take 20 minutes to open if it even opened. i tried restarting it a few more times, but it keeps doing the same thing. what do i do? thanks.

Are you running any Antispyware programs?

Boot your computer into safemode and clear out your Temporary Internet files along with your Temp folder.

Run a scandisk and a defrag.
