Default [Answered] PC is freezing - please help!

Hello guys, i hope you can help me asap!! , my problem is i installed Norton AntiVirus 2005 while having Panda AntiVirus 2004 installed already on my pc, i rebooted my pc after finishing the installation of norton antivirus 2005 and when i turn it back on i get contol of it for about 30 seconds then it frezzes. I cant even get to System Restore with out it frezzing, this stops me turning it off also, i have to hold me power button down for 6 seconds then its off, but its the same old problem when turning it on, frezzing, not letting me do anything. Ive got alot of important work on their and i cant afford to lose it.

is there anyway to solve this problem ? please help me asap i'll be greatfull.

I can't believe we missed this post, sorry jim02.

(quick check) make sure that the fan on your processor/cpu is still spinning in your case. This problem could be caused by over-heating.

Next try this:

When the computer starts to come to life, start tapping the F8 key on your keyboard. Eventually this will bring you to the Advanced Boot Options screen. Use the arrow up/down keys on your keyboard to select the option which says "Last known good configuration". Depending on the speed of your computer, this may take up to several minutes. This will restore that last good copy of the Windows registry.
