It all looks good.

Only nitpick I would have is that your graphics card has HDMI out and your monitor only supports DVI.

Video quality will be better through HDMI.

Either buy a HDMI enabled monitor or (probably the cheaper and better option) connect the PC to a HDTV. That way you have a PC monitor, with Freeview and other goodies.

Through a TV you will also be able to play audio through HDMI as it is a built in function of the graphics card. Much better than having external speakers or playing sound through tinny built in monitor speakers

If I was building a new system, an Intel i5 CPU and supporting hardware would be the 1st choice. No questions asked. While the Socket 775 form factor is still more than viable, it's on an inevitable decline and soon to be a thing of the past.

As your choices stand, the GPU (4850/512MB/GDDR3) lags behind the rest of the components, and you'll be better served with a 4870 or a 4890 1GB/GDDR5 card.

I agree with previous post update the graphics card for a little bit more expensive one

Also the Antec 300 doesnt look to crash hot

I have this case for my system PLE Computers Perth, Online Shopping, Computers, Notebooks, Hardware, Service and Repairs and it works a treat, great air flow plenty of room etc

As for the rest looks pretty good
