All other Hardware - Inspiron 9100 Screen Issue posted in the Hardware forums; unfortunatly the dell site cant find any info regarding the service tag you posted ?? strange!! (although not uncommon)...

Morning all. On that link, the second one, ATI-BIOS, is the one i downloaded and then it went wrong again.

One other thing, I've already connected the laptop to an external monitor and get the same problem so I don't think it's the actual screen that's faulty.

The 3rd one own is the original driver isn't it? Which is what i've reinstalled from the cd that came with the machine. Or is it an updated driver that may solve the problem?

No, I find typing Boyo quicker whilst I am trying to assist you, sorry for any misconstrued conceptions.

Have you actually tried the 3rd .exe?

You keep calling me Boyo! It's Boy Of 66 but didn't put the spaces in. Born in 66. West Ham won the World Cup and were called the Boys of 66. Thought it was quite good really.

Anyway, doing the download now. Hold tight.

Downloaded to desktop but can't read which icon it is!. Can i click run instead of save?
