Default DMZ not enabling on router

I am usually good at routers but since i never used a D-Link before i thought i would use one since my old router went down.. and i got a D-Link DI-634m and well i am currently put the firmware to the latest firmware.. i put my pc ip (interal ip) in the dmz slot and hit enabled and applied the changes and rebooted the router and still its not opening all the ports for my pc.. btw im running a xampp web space on my hard drive and i like to let friends check up on my status on there.. so i usually have that up.. since i can't get the DMZ to let my pc open ports.. can someone help me please?

Thank you

You should not put things in the dmz zone as this lets everything pass you should just forward the ports you require full details and instructions for your router at portforward

You cant test it from your lan as it wont let you it must be done from outside the lan and the porsts or dmz must go to a static ip not a dhcp one

it is a static ip.. on my old router i use to just put my static ip into the dmz and reboot and then i could be able to type my exteral ip in the address bar of Internet exlporer and my webpage on xampp would show up.. something is messing up somewhere on this D-link.. so im clueless
