it cant be overheating, i used Rivatuner to put my GPU fan to 100% and the stability test temperature stoped going up at 56c, then i tried playing L4D with the fans at 100%, the temperature was only at 48c but it STILL crashed.

Im also not sure if its power either, i used a PSU wattage calculator, and it said that the PC should only require 438Watts. though maybe its a faulty PSU, Im not sure. it was certainly A LOT cheaper than the PSUs by the companies you sugested.
there is one more think i can think that could cause a problem, my room has only one accessable socket, so i have had to overload it with splitters. My PC does not work when connected to any of the splitters because it needs all the power the socket can supply. so i solved the problem by running an extension cable under my door to an available socket. the thing is, this extesion cable ends in a 2 way splitter, i asumed that since i dont use the other socket on the splitter it shouldnt split the power from the socket and my PC should get it all. maybe the Splitter still reduces the wattage that should be getting to the PC, causing power problems. but that sounds unlikely.

a PC enthusiast i know suggested it could also be faulty drivers or an OS problem, is this posible?

Yes, it could also be an OS problem but I'm thinking it's the PSU. You should switch that thing out anyway if it's a generic PSU... I'm not going to lie, they are extremely undependable. I went that route with my older build and when I asked for just a little more power than it could give it took out my Mobo, RAM, and Video card. Byebye 2000$! I would recommend spending at 150$ on a new PSU, it may not even be the solution but it will give you peace of mind for upgrading and stability. If the new PSU doesn't fix the problem or you don't want to go that route, you can always re install the OS. Or you can reinstall your drivers.

Looking forward to your reply,

Andrew

** EDIT **

I also, as requested earlier, need you to report all of the temperatures you see in GPUTOOL for me, your VRM's could be overheating, not just the core processor of the card.

this build only cost £400 ($657.47) so spending £91.25 ($150) on a PSU would not be exeptable (especially since I only have round about £100 left in my account, being only 15 y.o and all). and im not willing to spend practiclay any money untill i know for certain what is causing the problem.

And what do i do to get these temperature reading?

Simply click on the "Sensors" tab on the GPUTOOL program I gave you and post a screenshot.

While you're testing components, include RAM testing also. Bad RAM will cause random reboots. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt & hat.
