Hi, I'm new here, not sure if this is a hardware case or not.
My mouse has stopped working, it happened about a week ago and I am at a loos at what I'm supposed to do, i have been searching site frantically for a solution, USB mice don't work either, and it appears that the drivers have been lost for some reason. I have turned off my computer and disconnected and reconnected my mouse dozens of times and tried using alternative mice and it still isn't working.
The mouse that originally stopped working is a PS/2 mouse, though USB ones don't work either, as I said. It is an IPEX mouse, and it is not a connection of the PS/2 port problem as my keyboard is still working fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hello Razed
Welcome to PCHF Have you tried another PS2 mouse in the port, this could come down to a motherboard issue if the USB do not work either?

Yeah I tried using the mouse from my other computer which is also PS/2, still nothing. I'm not sure how to check BIOS whether something is clashing though, if someone could shed some light on that it would be great.

I just checked the BIOS as well, I set the default settings for PnP, but that hasn't helped, the mouse is still not responding.
