Hey,
I would like to make a boot menu for when I boot up a partitioned USB drive
I have no clue how to go about doing this and hoped someone here could point me in the right direction.
If you don't know what I mean:
I start up my computer hit F12 for a one-time boot menu.
I select USB device.
Now from here I would like to have another menu come up and allow me to select the partitions.
Is that possible?
As I said I have no clue were to start.
Thanks in advance!

Once the partitions are formatted Doggy they will show as normal drives in Disk Management.
The only reason anyone would want to boot to them is if there is an operating system on one of the partitions.

Yea I've gotten that far.
I'd like to put recovery boot software or Windows 7 on the partitions. Is it even possible to use Windows 7 like that? |

If we are talking about putting 7 on that 8GB Kingston stick that you mentioned the other day then forget it Doggy as apparently you need twice as much for 7.

Yea its the same one, what about XP or Vista?
Is it possible to copy my OS files over to a flash drive and boot the OS from that? Could it be that simple? |

Well XP takes about 1.5GB and Vista is about 8GB.
But If you want to install either OS to the stick then they will have to be brand new operating systems Doggy and not one's that are already installed on a machine/s that you have, otherwise it would be illegal. Finally you must have the ability to boot from USB in the bios.

I got all that, but is it as simple as copying the C: drive to the USB stick?
