Default No internet could it be my card?

I recently got a blue screen after trying to install UT3 onto my pc. So, not wanting to much trouble i just wiped my hard drive clean and re-installed windows (i regularly back-up onto my seagate). I dragged all the files from my seagate back to my now fresh desktop. I then attempted to use the internet, and got no connecitons. I reset my router plugged and unplugged my cable. but no solution. I'm hoping this is an easy fix and i dont have to go by a new card, but i will if thats the problem. thanks in advance

Sounds like you need the drivers for your Network Card.

If you click Start > Control Panel > System > Device Manager Tab

There is probably a yellow exclamation mark (!) next to your network card and probably other devices such as your sound card.

You will need to determine the manufacturer of your network card and which model number it is and download the drivers for it.

You will probably have to do it on a different PC and transfer the driver files to this problem PC using a CD, USB stick or some other means.

Easiest way to find out what driver you need is to click Start > Run and type in dxdiag

Then click OK

On the system tab make a note of what it lists the Motherboard as. Then google for the motherboard and add 'drivers' or 'specification' to the search.

Both should work although the 'drivers' search should get what you need.

Most likely the Blue Screen will come back again. If it does then the problem is your video card. Which is about a 90% probability.

Just follow the steps and you will be fine. It is useful to keep a copy of the drivers for your system on a CD or USB drive to save you time the next time you format.

If the Blue Screen comes back again then please make a new thread in the Blue Screen section of the forum.
