Hi, I would like to find out how to setup a commercial internet fax service, like ‘Efax’. I know that I will need to have a fax server or gateway, but what are the exact hardware and software that I need? Do I need just a fax modern & a telephone line? Can anyone help me? Thanks!!

Whilst I know Cape Verde is miles from anywhere the fax technology has I believe been superseded by scanning documents and attaching those documents to an email.

Others in the forum may have different thoughts................

Sorry, but I've got to agree with Elpmek. I can't recall the last time that I faxed a document. I know I've seen the fax usage go down significantly at my office as well. Document scan & e-mail is the norm today.
