What do most people do with all those older computer cables? Rarely do you find the right one when you need it. The 24 pin printer cables I am almost positive is trash.

Hi

Mine are in a drawer under my desk..I promise myself that I'll throw them out every year but like the majority of techies out there, I find it really hard to part with anything like that

I have the same problem, I'm a horder anyway, my wife dispares. To try and keep her happy I tried to give my old pc to charity, they won't accept them in the charity shops as they electricaly untested and a site I found on the web wanted me to pay nearly £100 to send it to them (ha! ha! ha!) My kids had the time of their lives with a couple of hammers and I took the bits up the recycling sheds.

I've been trying to get rid of 2 bad CRT monitors and an old CRT TV for 2 months. NO ONE wants them and I can't throw them in the trash. Office Depot will take then after I buy 3 'special' boxes @ $25 each so they can sell them to a major recycler. I'm unwilling to be a part of Office Depot getting paid on BOTH ends of this deal. The large pond in back of my apartment looks better everyday.
